Placements24 has an opening for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on designing electrical systems for industrial facilities, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety and codes.

You will develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, coordinate with mechanical and civil teams, and support site verification during construction. A minimum of 5 years’ experience and a BEng in electrical engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial facilities or heavy industrial projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software and knowledge of electrical codes (SANS/NEC).

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems for industrial plants.
