About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for commercial buildings, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and fire detection.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules using CAD software.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify design information, and provide construction support.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines, such as architectural, structural, and mechanical, to ensure integrated solutions.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to RFIs from contractors during the construction phase.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and local building codes, standards, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on commercial building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with relevant electrical design software.
• Good understanding of lighting design principles and energy-efficient solutions.
