Job summary

Together Staffing group is seeking a BIM Electrical Specialist to join our client’s engineering team in Cape Town. You will develop and manage electrical BIM models using Revit for diverse residential, commercial, retail and industrial developments.

Key duties include generating drawings from mark-ups, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and maintaining BIM standards. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM 360 is essential.

Qualifications

• Drawing Office Practice Certificate or related qualification.
• Experience on residential, commercial, retail and industrial building projects.
• Proficient in Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models using Revit.
• Produce accurate technical drawings from engineering mark-ups.
• Manage the drawing process from project initiation through to completion.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Issue and distribute drawings across multiple digital platforms.
• Create and maintain BIM standards, Revit families and project templates.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects and contractors throughout project delivery.
• Stay up to date with BIM technologies and software advancements.
