Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative Curriculum Developer focused on English Language Arts for our Centurion-based educational programs. You will design, revise, and implement comprehensive curricula across multiple levels, working with SMEs, teachers, and instructional designers to ensure engaging content that meets learning objectives.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Education or English, 5+ years in curriculum development, and strong literacy pedagogy knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, English Literature, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in curriculum development or instructional design, preferably within English education.
• Strong knowledge of literacy pedagogy, curriculum standards, and assessment design.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop English language arts curriculum materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
• Review and update existing curriculum frameworks to ensure alignment with educational standards and emerging pedagogical trends.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and teachers to gather input and ensure practical applicability of the curriculum.
• Create supplementary learning resources, such as study guides, digital content, and interactive exercises.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through feedback and performance data, making necessary revisions.
