Job summary

SGS is recruiting an EEMEA Business Development Director Geochemistry to lead regional growth, manage key accounts, and identify new market opportunities within the Geochemistry Lab SBU. You will collaborate with global and regional teams to drive sales initiatives, pricing strategy, and strategic partnerships while ensuring project scopes and client expectations are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geochemistry, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Marketing, or MBA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Drive regional business development and oversee key account management.
Identify new market opportunities and support M&A activities where applicable.
Collaborate with regional/global leadership to achieve strategic objectives and support global sales initiatives.
Prepare complex client quotes, service agreements, proposals, and responses to RFS/RFPs/tenders within deadlines.
Promote cross-selling across SGS lines and services and develop regional sales plans.
Coordinate with teams to ensure project scope, schedules and budgets are met.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity; identify new service offerings and partnerships.
Travel frequently for business and maintain high standards of integrity and client service.
