Job summary

ADvTECH Schools Division seeks an experienced education leader to join the school management team in Gauteng. The role covers academic leadership, timetabling, parent engagement and enforcement of the Code of Conduct, with responsibilities spanning events, marketing and student development.

The ideal candidate has a recognised degree or 4-year teaching qualification and at least 5 years in teaching and management within a similar environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree or 4-year teaching qualification.
• Minimum 5 years teaching and management experience in a similar environment.
• Experience in private/independent school settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a member of the school management team.
• Coordinate the academic and timetabling programmes.
• Conduct parent interviews and respond to parental needs.
• Implement and maintain the Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate events and manage marketing, PR and advertising.
• Oversee student discipline and development of student leadership.
• Coordinate outreach programmes and community engagement.
• Manage finances and administrative controls.
• Drive innovation, research, development and implementation of initiatives.
• Provide academic leadership and guidance.
• Oversee project management.
