Placements24 is seeking a remote Grant Writer and Development Officer to support an educational charities foundation. You will research funding opportunities, craft compelling grant proposals, and cultivate donor relationships to secure essential funding for scholarships and outreach.

This fully remote role demands outstanding writing, proven fundraising success, and the ability to translate complex program needs into persuasive narratives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a grant writer or fundraising professional.
• Demonstrated success in securing grant funding.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong language command.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for donor relationships.
• Proficiency with donor management software (CRM) and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines remotely.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach to fundraising.
• Familiarity with education program concepts and evaluation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government bodies.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and reports.
• Develop narratives communicating mission, programs, and impact.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and grant-making institutions.
• Collaborate with staff to gather information for proposals and reports.
