Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Head of Ecosystem Marketing at its Head Office to lead the marketing interface for all ecosystem offerings, including Financial Services, Clinic/Pharmacy services, and Loyalty programmes.

You will manage a team of ecosystem-aligned marketers, translate strategies into actionable plans, and drive cross-channel campaigns to deliver growth, adoption, and engagement for service-led solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in category marketing, brand management, ecosystem marketing, or integrated marketing leadership roles within retail, healthcare, financial services, FMCG, or consumer-facing environments.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a leadership or people management role.
• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end marketing planning and execution for service-led environments.

Responsibilities

• Ecosystem marketing plans and prioritisation: Lead development of annual Ecosystem marketing plans for Financial services, Clinic/pharmacy, and societal health programmes, ensuring alignment with ecosystem strategies and integration into the overarching marketing calendar.
• Ecosystem & service marketing leadership: Guide and coach ecosystem marketing resources to deliver high-quality briefs, insights, and ecosystem-aligned marketing requirements.
• Ensure development of strong campaign and content briefs that provide clear direction to Creative and content, and Integrated marketing campaign teams; monitor execution quality across channels.
• Partner with Integrated marketing campaign team to ensure cross-channel execution aligns with ecosystem requirements and accurately reflects service propositions.
