Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous ecommerce/digital or online retail experience, preferably fashion or retail.
• Experience using an ecommerce platform such as Shopify.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with product data and spreadsheets.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with the ability to understand ecommerce data.
• Commercially aware with genuine interest in ecommerce and fashion.
• Confident communicating with internal teams at all levels.
• Keen eye for presentation and online customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the ecommerce website, ensuring content and product information is up to date.
• Upload new products and maintain listings, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, SKUs.
• Support launches of new collections across the website.
• Prepare and manage bulk product uploads using Excel.
• Carry out website checks to resolve product, pricing, stock, or content issues.
• Support ecommerce promotions, campaigns, and key trading activity.
• Ensure products and collections are presented consistently with the brand.
• Monitor ecommerce KPIs and identify trends to improve sales and conversion.
• Assist with regular ecommerce sales and trading reports.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Design and Operations to align activity.

We are working with a successful and growing fashion business who are looking for an Ecommerce Executive to join their team.

You will support the day-to-day management and trading of the company’s ecommerce channel, ensuring the website is fully up to date, products are presented accurately, and commercial opportunities are maximised.

This is a hands-on role, working across product uploads, website merchandising, content, promotions, and ecommerce reporting.

Ecommerce Executive Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the ecommerce website, ensuring content and product information is accurate and up to date.
• Uploading new products and maintaining product listings, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, SKUs, and product information.
• Supporting the launch of new collections and seasonal product ranges across the website.
• Preparing and managing bulk product uploads and updates using Excel.
• Carrying out regular website checks to identify and resolve any product, pricing, stock, or content issues.
• Supporting the implementation of ecommerce promotions, campaigns, and key trading activity.
• Ensuring products and collections are presented consistently and in line with the wider brand.
• Monitoring website performance and key ecommerce KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities to improve sales and conversion.
• Assisting with regular ecommerce sales and trading reports.
• Working closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product, Design and Operations to ensure ecommerce activity is aligned and delivered on schedule.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey, onsite experience, and overall ecommerce performance.

Ecommerce Executive Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within an ecommerce, digital or online retail role, ideally within fashion or retail.
• Experience using an ecommerce platform such as Shopify.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with product data and spreadsheets.
• Good numerical and analytical skills, with an ability to understand ecommerce sales and performance data.
• Commercially aware with a genuine interest in ecommerce, fashion and digital retail.
• Confident working collaboratively with internal teams and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• A keen eye for presentation and an understanding of the online customer experience.
