Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ECD initiatives in Benoni, Gauteng. You will manage budgets, build partnerships with local stakeholders, and lead a team to deliver high-quality programs benefiting young children and educators in underserved communities.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of progressive ECD program management

Qualifications

Master's degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program management with a focus on ECD.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage strategic ECD programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
Oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial accountability.
Lead and mentor a team of ECD facilitators and support staff, fostering a high-performing work environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, government agencies, schools, and stakeholders.
Monitor activities, collect data, and conduct evaluations to assess impact and identify improvements.
Develop and deliver training programs for ECD practitioners and caregivers.
Ensure compliance with ECD regulations and standards.
Prepare regular reports on program progress, outcomes, and financial status for management and donors.
Advocate for rights and needs of young children and promote quality ECD services.
