Job summary

Placements24 in Upington, South Africa, is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to support young children through play-based learning and structured activities. You will plan engaging lessons, observe progress, and collaborate with parents and colleagues to foster each child’s development.

The successful candidate will have a relevant Early Childhood Development qualification, experience with young children, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for young children.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
