Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Education (NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience in a formal childcare or preschool setting.
• Deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in early learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote development.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety indoors and outdoors.
• Observe and record children’s progress and communicate observations to parents.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and center staff to maintain a cohesive team.
• Maintain a clean, organized learning space and ensure safety regulations are met.
