Placements24 seeks an energetic Early Years Educator & Curriculum Developer for a part-time, on-site role in Centurion, Gauteng. You will design and deliver engaging activities for 2–5 year olds, create innovative materials, observe progress, and communicate with parents to support children's holistic development.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Childhood Education qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with young children in educational settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative lesson plans and age-appropriate activities.
• Thorough understanding of child development and learning theories.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging daily lessons and activities in line with the early years curriculum framework.
• Develop and update educational materials and resources to keep content current and stimulating.
• Observe progress and document observations, providing feedback to parents.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior to promote positive social interactions.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to achieve goals.
• Communicate with parents regarding child progress and well-being.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Contribute to curriculum improvement and teaching methodologies.
