Key Responsibilities

• Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.


• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.


• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to address individual children’s needs and ensure a cohesive approach to their development.


• Manage classroom resources, supplies, and materials efficiently, ensuring a well-organized and equipped learning space.


• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of current trends and best practices in early childhood education.


• Contribute to the development and review of the centre’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development, Education, or a related field (e.g., NQF Level 4/5 or equivalent).


• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an early childhood education setting.
