Placements24 is seeking an Early Childhood Development Facilitator for Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing learning space for children aged 0–6 and delivering age-appropriate activities.

You will observe progress, communicate with families, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (e.g., NQF Level 4 or 5 ECD Certificate or Diploma).
• Proven experience working with young children (0–6 years).
• Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early learning.
• First Aid certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing individual support as needed.
• Foster positive social interactions and emotional well-being among children.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues on events and activities.
• Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards for ECD centers.

About the Role

Our client is a well-established educational non-profit organization focused on providing high-quality early childhood development (ECD) services. They are seeking a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Development Facilitator to join their dedicated team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . Key Responsibilities

Requirements
