Placements24 in Nelspruit is seeking an Early Childhood Development Facilitator to plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 3–5, fostering cognitive, social and emotional growth in a safe classroom. You will observe progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with fellow educators in a supportive setting.

The role requires a relevant ECD qualification (NQF4+), at least 2 years of experience, and a First Aid certificate, with a strong grounding in child development

About the Role

Our client, a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing young minds through quality early childhood education in Nelspruit , is looking for a vibrant and nurturing Early Childhood Development (ECD) Facilitator. This position is at the heart of our mission, providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged 3-5. You will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The ideal candidate is passionate about early learning, patient, creative, and possesses a strong understanding of child development principles specific to the Nelspruit context.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging daily learning activities in line with the ECD curriculum.
• Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment for young children.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and well-being.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped classroom environment.
• Ensure the safety and physical well-being of all children under your care.

Requirements
