Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Development (ECD) Facilitator for our Vereeniging, Gauteng centre. You will plan age-appropriate activities, monitor progress, and communicate with parents to support holistic child development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate educational activities for young children (ages 0-6).
• Observe and record children's progress, assessing their development across various domains.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Manage classroom routines and ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children under your care.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns.
• Foster positive social interactions among children, teaching them essential social skills and conflict resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment in Vereeniging.
• Collaborate with other ECD practitioners and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
• Implement the approved ECD curriculum and policies of the centre.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training relevant to early childhood education.

About the Role

Our client, a nurturing early childhood development centre in Vereeniging, Gauteng, is seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Development (ECD) Facilitator.
