Placements24 is seeking an energetic E-commerce Social Media & Community Manager to lead our client’s social presence from our Benoni office. You’ll craft engaging content, grow a community, and drive online sales across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.

You’ll work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency, analyze KPIs, and stay ahead of trends in a fast-paced retail environment. The role blends creativity with strategy and hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in social media management with community building and e-commerce.
• Proven ability to create engaging social media content for various platforms.
• Experience with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of social media advertising principles and campaign management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service orientation.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and brand storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the Benoni, Gauteng retail landscape is a plus.

Responsibilities
