Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Developer to join a fully remote technical team. You will design, build, and optimize scalable web applications for a global customer base, focusing on performance, security, and seamless integrations with payment and shipping providers.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers in an agile environment, driving architecture decisions and delivering value across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/SE.
• Minimum 5 years in web development, 3+ years in e-commerce.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, Ruby or Java back-end languages.
• Experience with Magento, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, or custom platforms.
• Strong DB skills: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiar with HTML/CSS/JS and modern frameworks (React/Vue/Angular).
• Git for version control; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps basics.
• Able to work remotely with strong communication.
