About the Role

Our client, a dynamic online fashion boutique in Soweto, Gauteng , is looking for an enthusiastic and organized E-commerce Merchandiser & Social Media Assistant to join their team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of e-commerce and digital marketing. You will assist in managing the online store, ensuring products are displayed attractively, and supporting social media efforts to drive engagement and sales. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and has a keen interest in fashion and online retail within the Soweto community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in updating product listings on the e-commerce website, including writing descriptions and uploading images.
• Organize and categorize products to ensure a user-friendly shopping experience.
• Monitor online inventory levels and flag any discrepancies.
• Support the creation and scheduling of social media content for platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages under supervision.
• Assist in tracking social media performance and website traffic using basic analytics.
