Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical E-commerce Performance Marketing Specialist for its Centurion, Gauteng office. You will design, implement, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and other channels to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

You will lead keyword research, audience segmentation, and A/B testing, manage large budgets, and collaborate with content and analytics teams to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, or related quantitative field.
• 4+ years hands-on performance marketing experience in e‑commerce.
• Proven ability to manage and scale paid campaigns with large budgets.
• Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other major platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with data tools (GA, Excel/Sheets; SQL a plus).
• Experience with A/B testing and CRO techniques.
• Solid understanding of e‑commerce funnels and customer acquisition strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain data clearly.
• Office-based in Centurion, Gauteng; Google Ads & Facebook Blueprint certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and other channels.
• Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and A/B testing to improve performance.
• Manage campaign budgets to achieve target KPIs (ROAS, CPA, conversions).
• Analyze campaign data and generate reports with insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop compelling ad copy and visuals.
• Stay updated with performance marketing trends and best practices in e‑commerce advertising.
• Monitor website analytics to identify CRO opportunities.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to align paid media with overall strategy.
• Identify and test new advertising channels to expand reach and acquire new customers.
• Manage relationships with platforms and third‑party vendors as needed.
