Job summary

Outsource-X Pty seeks an entry-level Content Administrator to support an e-commerce client. You split time between updating product data and performing website tests, ensuring accuracy and smooth user experiences.

The role emphasizes attention to detail and consistent communication with the merchandising team. You will manage product descriptions, copy updates, and categorisation while logging issues, retesting fixes, and maintaining up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent required; diploma/tertiary study a plus
• No formal experience needed; exposure to websites or admin work helpful
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
• Good written English for bug reporting and copy editing
• Comfortable with Excel/Sheets and online tools
• Able to follow instructions, work independently, ask when unclear
• Good to work with a team and handle multiple requests

Responsibilities

• Capture and update product data on the website/back-end system
• Update product copy and descriptions onsite
• Update product positioning and categorisation onsite
• Check data for accuracy before and after going live
• Keep product information tidy and up to date
• Take on general admin tasks for the visual merchandising team
• Check website links and run basic functionality checks
• Test new features across browsers/devices
• Log bugs with clear steps and retest fixes
• Maintain a simple record of tested items and outstanding work
