The role requires strong organizational skills, calm under pressure, and proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and MS Office. You will schedule routes, monitor progress, and collaborate with warehouse teams to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Logistics Dispatcher or fleet coordinator.
• Strong understanding of transportation logistics, routing and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and MS Office.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate the dispatch of vehicles for local and long-distance deliveries.
• Monitor driver progress and ensure adherence to schedules and routes.
• Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times and fuel costs.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched shipments, delivery times, and deviations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support and addressing issues during transit.
• Liaise with warehouse teams and customer service to resolve delivery queries promptly.
