Job summary

OUTsurance is expanding its broker arm in Stellenbosch, seeking a driven Broker/Tied Agent to grow the short-term insurance book. You’ll prospect for new business, sell personal and commercial lines, and build lasting client relationships within a vibrant, inclusive culture.

You should have Matric, a valid B license, a reliable vehicle, and at least 3 years of external sales experience. FAIS/RE5 credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate.
• Must own a reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle.
• Valid code B driver's license.
• 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment.
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors.
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA).
• RE5 (depending on DOFA).

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance.
• Sell personal lines and commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset is required for success.
• Maintain relationship management and close new sales with clients.
