Job summary

EF Cape Town Campus, part of EF Language Abroad, seeks an ESL Teacher & Cambridge Exams Coordinator to teach General English, Exam Preparation and SPIN courses to international students.

You will coordinate Cambridge English examinations, manage timetables, liaise with Cambridge Assessment English and internal staff, and support teachers in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Strong English proficiency, CELTA/CertTESOL or DELTA is advantageous, and flexibility to adjust hours during exam periods.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
• Experience teaching Cambridge Exam Preparation courses is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons for General English, Cambridge Exam Preparation and SPIN courses.
• Inspire language learning with engaging, immersive classroom experiences.
• Academic administration: track attendance, assess progress, provide feedback.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and campus involvement.
• Coordinate Cambridge English examinations: registrations, timetables, results and documentation.
• Support and advise teachers delivering Cambridge Exam Preparation courses.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with ESL teaching practices.
