The Legends Agency is seeking a Branch Manager for Somerset West (Hardware/Retail) to oversee daily branch operations and a busy retail and trade yard. You will drive sales, manage a diverse team, optimize inventory, and ensure exceptional customer service for DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors.

Responsibilities include leading yard staff and drivers, maintaining stock accuracy, and enforcing safety protocols while coordinating local logistics and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, wholesale, or branch management is required.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage a hands-on operations and sales team.
• High energy, physically resilient, and able to work in outdoor yard environments.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and a welcoming customer environment.
• Lead, motivate, and manage yard staff, sales consultants, and drivers; conduct performance reviews.
• Drive sales to meet targets and build relationships with trade clients, contractors, and landscapers.
• Manage stock levels, shrinkage, and regular stock takes; oversee cash handling and POS reconciliations.
