Wild Dreams Hospitality in Franschhoek is seeking a guest-facing duty manager who thrives in an intimate, high-touch setting. You will oversee front-of-house operations, welcome guests, and ensure a seamless daily flow across departments.

The role requires stock control, basic admin tasks, exceptional guest service, and the ability to work in a small team. Live-out position with staff transport from Franschhoek and Paarl; immediate start.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a duty management or host role, ideally in boutique or luxury hospitality.
• Strong understanding of stock control and basic administrative processes.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational capacity.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills, with a natural warmth.
• Reliable, responsible, and confident working independently.
• Flexible and adaptable within a small, close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house and hosting operations.
• Welcome and check in guests, ensuring a warm and personal arrival experience.
• Conduct regular stock takes and manage ordering.
• Support smooth day-to-day operational flow across departments.
• Assist with general administrative duties.
• Maintain five-star service standards throughout the guest journey.
• Step in wherever needed as a hands-on support to the wider team.

Core Criteria

• Previous experience in a similar duty management or host role, ideally within boutique or luxury hospitality
• Strong understanding of stock control and basic administrative processes
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational capacity
• Excellent communication and guest service skills, with a natural warmth
• Reliable, responsible, and confident working independently
• Flexible and adaptable within a small, close-knit team
• Must reside within the Franschhoek or greater Cape Winelands area
