Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including trades, subcontractors, and direct labor, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement detailed site work schedules, monitor progress, and proactively address any delays or deviations from the plan.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Manage the quality of workmanship, conduct inspections, and ensure all construction meets the required standards and specifications for the residential development.
• Control site resources, including materials, plant, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing waste.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and safety documentation for projects in Durban.
