Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly competent Senior Site Engineer to manage civil works on a large-scale Durban development. You will supervise daily construction activities, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards while coordinating resources and subcontractors.

You will monitor progress, prepare reports, and liaise with contractors and client representatives to keep the project on schedule, within budget and to quality expectations across KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in site engineering, with a strong focus on civil construction projects.
• Proven experience in managing large earthworks, concrete structures, and infrastructure installation.
• Familiarity with contract administration, quality assurance, and health and safety management systems.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment and civil engineering design software.
