Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a Durban-based humanitarian organization to recruit a strategic Fundraising Campaign Manager. You will design and drive annual and multi-year fundraising plans, cultivate major gifts, and oversee events and campaigns to maximize donor engagement and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Philanthropy, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive fundraising or development experience in non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious fundraising targets and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and multi-year fundraising strategies for the Durban region.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Manage diverse fundraising activities including grant writing, direct mail, online giving, and events.
• Oversee creation of compelling fundraising appeals and materials with brand consistency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, providing excellent stewardship.
• Analyze fundraising data and trends to optimize campaign performance and donor engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop campaign messaging and collateral.
• Manage the fundraising budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in philanthropic giving.
• Report on campaign progress and financial results to senior management and the board.
