Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
At least 5 years of production/process support experience in the chemical industry.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing problems.
Strong understanding of process control systems and data analysis techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous for this role in Durban.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate technical support to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
Monitor key process parameters and implement adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to address process deviations and equipment issues.
Assist in the development and execution of process optimization projects.
