Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Account Manager in Durban to oversee and grow an existing client portfolio. You will nurture relationships, ensure high satisfaction levels, and identify upsell opportunities within the KwaZulu-Natal region.

You will be the primary contact for assigned accounts, coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and drive repeat business in a B2B context. A strong sales background and rapport-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Min 4 years in account management or client-facing sales.
• Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in Durban market or similar B2B sales environments.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute account plans to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess needs and present relevant solutions.
• Liaise between clients and internal departments, coordinating service delivery and resolving issues.
• Negotiate contract renewals and identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.
