Job summary

Recruitify_HR is seeking a courier/driver in Upington, requiring EC (code 14) licence and PDP (D). The candidate should have at least 3 years of driving experience, be reliable, energetic and fluent in English/Afrikaans. Responsibilities include route planning, loading, invoice checks, and maintaining vehicle and logs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick products according to picking slips.
• Physically load products and ensure neat loading.
• Check invoices against products.
• Inspect vehicle and perform general checks.
• Plan routes in consultation with Warehouse Manager.
• Follow traffic signs and road rules.
• Monitor delivery times and maintain logs.
• Receive payments when applicable and submit to head office.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and washing.
• Assist in warehouse for moving, picking and packing.

Duties

• Pick products according Picking slips
• Physical loading of products
• Check Invoices with products
• Check vehicle and do general inspection
• Do route planning in consultation with Warehouse Manager
• Respect traffic signs and road rules
• Monitor traffic flow to deliver products on time
• Logs must be kept
• Often receive payments and submit to head office
• Responsible for neatness and washing of the vehicle
• Responsible in warehouse to help with moving and picking and packing of products on the shelves
• Any other assignment as determined by the Manager

Skills Requirements

• Person should be very considerate
• Responsible and honest
• Proven excellent driver’s record
• Candidate must have good communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
• Candidates must be energetic and in good health

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 7h30 to 17h00
