General Heavy Machinery is seeking an experienced Drill Rig Sales Specialist to join our team in South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of drill rigs and drilling equipment, with proven success selling capital equipment to mining, construction, quarrying, and related sectors.

Prospective hires should have a robust network in the mining and drilling community, and be adept at identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations and proposals, and negotiating

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales of drill rigs or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of drill rigs and equipment.
• Existing network within mining/construction/drilling advantageous.
• Ability to identify opportunities and build client relationships.
• Experience in preparing proposals and negotiating large sales.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales of drill rigs or similar heavy equipment
• Strong technical knowledge of drill rigs, drilling applications and equipment
• Existing network within the mining, construction and/or drilling industry will be advantageous
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
• Experience in preparing quotations, proposals and negotiating large equipment sales
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
