Job summary

Jobs 4 All is seeking a senior operations leader to manage warehousing and distribution in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. You will oversee budgeted costs, productivity and safety while guiding a diverse team and ensuring audit readiness.

The role requires 10–12 years of experience, a Logistics Management degree, and strong WMS and MS Office skills. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential for success in this on-site position in South Africa.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years’ experience in Warehousing and Distribution Management within FMCG or QSR environments.
• Degree or higher in Logistics Management or related field.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong financial, operational, and people management capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse and transport operations within approved budgetary parameters.
• Control labour, equipment, maintenance, and operational expenditure against KPIs.
• Monitor and investigate cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate recording of all expenditure within the correct financial periods.
• Maintain accurate operational and financial reporting.
• Ensure picking and receiving accuracy and allocate resources according to plans.
• Maintain pallet identification, traceability and warehouse organisation.
• Compliance with policies, procedures, and standards; support audits and address findings.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost efficiency, service levels and quality.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouses, buildings, racking, refrigeration systems, MHE, and fleet equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations are followed.
• Lead, manage and develop warehouse and transport teams.
