Job summary

PepsiCo Germiston is seeking a senior Distribution Centre Manager to oversee the operation of the Central Distribution Centre, ensuring timely and cost-effective service to internal and external customers while upholding safety and quality standards. You will lead end-to-end warehouse activities, implement KPI-driven improvements, manage Capex planning, and drive operational excellence across departments.

This role requires 8+ years FMCG/logistics experience and strong leadership, change

Qualifications

• 8 years experience in FMCG manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, field and HO roles.
• 4 years logistics, inventory, planning or go to market experience, working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
• 5 years operational leadership experience and capability.
• Change management experience coupled with good analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end distribution centre operations including receiving, put away, storage, picking, packing and loading.
• Establish operational procedures for verification of stock, handling of stales, inventory accuracy, transfers and replenishment.
• Ensure warehouse overheads are within budget and develop, monitor KPI’s to meet performance targets.
• Track KPI reports and address deviations to avoid errors and improve efficiency.
• Maintain safe working conditions and adherence to health, safety and AIB procedures.
