Placements24 is assisting a distinguished international consulting firm in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga to find an experienced Dispute Resolution Specialist. You will manage complex disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation support, advising clients and coordinating with external counsel.

The ideal candidate is an Admitted Attorney with 6+ years post-qualification experience in commercial dispute resolution, with excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills, and

• Admitted Attorney with at least 6 years post-qualification experience in commercial dispute resolution.
• Proven track record in mediation, arbitration or litigation.
• Strong knowledge of South African law and procedural rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispute resolution processes including mediation, arbitration and litigation support.
• Draft pleadings, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in settlement negotiations and arbitrations.
• Advise on legal risks and dispute resolution options.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage case workflows.
• Identify proactive measures to prevent escalation and manage disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong specialization in commercial dispute resolution, arbitration, or mediation.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and resolving complex disputes.
• Proficiency in South African law and procedural rules related to litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills.
