Qualifications

• Under supervision, assist with dispensing and stock control within SOPs.

Responsibilities

• The sale of Schedule 1 medicines or scheduled substances.
• Assist with compounding, manipulation or preparation of non-sterile medicines.
• Unpack and merchandise stock; clean dispensary and OTC shelves.
• Follow direct supervision of a pharmacist and perform assigned duties.
• Interpret scripts accurately and ensure legal compliance with SAPC guidelines.
• Assist with stock control, expiry date checks, and shelf organization.
• Assist with script tracking, patient service calls, and information provision.
• Support scheme authorisation for chronic, HIV/AIDS and oncology meds.
