Job summary

Western Cape Government in CAPE TOWN is seeking a Director: Grant and Municipal Performance Management to lead management of the HSDG and ISUPG within the Province. You will drive strategic governance, oversee budgeting, procurement and compliance with housing policies.

The role requires a relevant NQF level 7 qualification and at least 5 years' middle/senior management experience, with strong leadership, change management and financial acumen to deliver sustainable housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• A relevant NQF level 7 qualification or equivalent recognised by SAQA.
• A minimum of 5 years' middle/senior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Line Management: strategic management and guidance; monitor housing expenditure and administer housing project claims for national housing programmes.
• Assess overall housing delivery performance of municipalities and report on delivery and finances.
• Participate in budgeting, tendering, procurement and contract management to ensure value-for-money and compliance.

Education

NQF level 7 qualification or equivalent recognised by SAQA
