Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives who will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

The role is full-time and remote within SA; you will use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume targets while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools and managing your own pipeline in CRM.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
