Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel—from researching accounts to booking meetings with qualified decision-makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients and drive pipeline through thoughtful outreach.

In this full-time remote role, you will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to source contacts, personalize outreach, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo) and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
