Job summary

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager for a leading retail brand in Sandton, Johannesburg. You will own the group’s full digital suite—including websites, e-commerce, social platforms and e-detailing tools—and lead a talented marketing team toward digital excellence and aligned campaigns.

You will drive strategy, manage budgets and agencies, and optimize campaigns across SEO, paid media, social and email while leveraging marketing automation and AI tools to maximize performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in digital marketing or related field.
• 5+ years of dedicated digital marketing experience within a leading agency or in-house marketing team.
• Proven track record across key digital channels including SEO, paid media, display, social media and email.
• Experience with marketing automation and modern AI tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Innovation - Develop and drive the digital marketing strategy aligned with brand goals and stay ahead of digital trends.
• Team Collaboration - Work with the marketing team to support product launches, campaigns and go-to-market initiatives.
• Website & Agency Management - Collaborate with digital/web agencies to optimize website performance, user experience, traffic and conversions.
• Campaign & Budget Oversight - Manage digital agency relationships, evaluate proposals and track KPI performance against budgets.
• Social media & Paid Ads - Oversee the group’s social media presence, advise on platforms and paid strategies.
• Digital Toolkits - Create and distribute digital promotional packs for stakeholders.
• Email Marketing & Compliance - Run engaging email campaigns and manage lists in line with data privacy regulations (POPIA/GDPR).
• Data & Analytics - Conduct performance reviews and deliver actionable insights.
