Placements24 is seeking a Digital Literacy Program Coordinator in Klerksdorp, North West, to plan, implement and manage community digital literacy initiatives. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and at least four years in program coordination or digital literacy education, with strong organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Community Development, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in program coordination, training or digital literacy education.
• Experience in curriculum or training material development.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer operations and online safety.
• Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment (remote and on-site).
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage digital literacy training programs for diverse community groups.
• Create training materials including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
• Coordinate and schedule workshops with efficient resource use.
• Recruit and train volunteer instructors or facilitators as needed.
• Track progress, collect data on outcomes, and prepare stakeholder reports.
