Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants is seeking a leader to drive HR digital transformation in a dynamic HR environment in South Africa. Lead the technology strategy, align with business goals, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and employee experience.

You will evaluate systems, oversee deployments and testing (SIT/UAT), integrate with payroll and benefits, and mentor teams to adopt new tools while fostering cross‑functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Computer Science, HR Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR digital transformation or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of digital HR technologies and applications.
• Experience with cloud-based HR solutions and process automation.
• Proficiency in project management and change management within HR functions.
• Skills in digital transformation, SIT, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital HR transformation initiatives across HR and IT.
• Evaluate and update HR technology systems to meet evolving needs.
• Design and deploy HR digital solutions with payroll, timekeeping, and benefits integration.
• Manage system deployment, data migration, SIT and UAT, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders and other business units to ensure alignment.

• Design and deploy HR digital solutions, including integration with payroll, timekeeping, and benefits systems.
• Analyze HR business requirements and tailor D365 HR or HRIS solutions accordingly.
• Lead system deployment, configuration, data migration, and testing phases, including SIT and UAT.
• Support go-live activities to facilitate seamless transition and user adoption.
• Act as the main point of contact for HR stakeholders during project lifecycle phases.
• Conduct training sessions to promote digital literacy and maximize user proficiency.
• Resolve complex technical issues and customize HR solutions to fit organizational needs.
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance HR efficiency.
• Review system performance and recommend strategic improvements.
• Drive innovation by introducing new digital HR ideas and technologies.
• Build strong relationships between HR, IT, and other business units.
• Manage the annual demand plan for digital HR initiatives.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through effective digital tools.
