Qualifications

  • 2–4 years’ experience in digital content management, online publishing, marketing or social media.
  • Experience using CMS such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing social media platforms professionally.
  • Strong written communication and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: publishing, media, events or B2B marketing exposure.
  • Basic SEO understanding and familiarity with analytics/tools.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms like HubSpot or Mailchimp.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and social media analytics tools.
  • Basic image editing with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Publish news articles, interviews, press releases and reports on the Prospect website.
  • Format and optimize content for web publication with images, links, metadata and SEO.
  • Maintain website content libraries and archive outdated content.
  • Coordinate with content writers and editors to ensure publication readiness.
  • Create and schedule social media posts across LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and distribute newsletters.
  • Monitor content performance and provide regular reports.
  • Ensure deadlines align with publishing schedules.

Job Description

The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for the timely publication, optimization and distribution of content across the company's digital platforms. The role manages the end-to-end publishing process for news articles, reports and interviews, ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment with the company's publishing brand and marketing objectives.

Working closely with the Content team, the Digital Content Coordinator will upload and maintain website content for the Prospect news platform, distribute content through social media channels, support email/newsletter marketing initiatives and monitor content performance to maximize audience engagement and website traffic.

Key responsibilities:
Website Content Management
  • Publish news articles, interviews, press releases and reports and event-related content on the Prospect website.
  • Format and optimize content for web publication, including images, hyperlinks, metadata and SEO elements.
  • Ensure content is published accurately, consistently and according to established publishing schedules.
  • Maintain website content libraries and archive outdated content where required.
  • Conduct regular website quality checks to identify and correct formatting, content or user experience issues.
  • Coordinate with content writers and editors to ensure all content is publication-ready.
Social Media Management
  • Create and schedule social media posts promoting published articles, reports, partnerships and announcements.
  • Adapt content for different social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting frequency and alignment with content campaigns.
  • Monitor social media engagement and elevate relevant opportunities or enquiries to appropriate teams.
  • Assist in growing audience engagement and digital reach across Prospect channels.
Digital Marketing Support
  • Support email marketing campaigns through content preparation and deployment.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of the Prospect newsletter and content marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure digital assets are organized and accessible across platforms. Support campaign execution across multiple digital channels.
SEO & Analytics
  • Apply basic SEO best practices to website content, including metadata, keywords and internal linking.
  • Monitor website traffic, article performance and social media engagement metrics.
  • Prepare regular performance reports highlighting content reach, engagement and audience growth.
  • Make recommendations to improve content visibility and digital performance.
Content Coordination
  • Liaise with Content and Marketing teams to coordinate publishing schedules and promotional activities.
  • Ensure content deadlines are met and publishing priorities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist with content repurposing across digital channels.
Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor'sdegree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Publishing or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in digital content management, online publishing, marketing or social media.
  • Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing social media platforms in a professional capacity.
  • Strong written communication and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience within publishing, media, events, conferences or B2B marketing environments.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Mailchimp.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and social media analytics tools.
  • Basic image editing experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
