Job summary

Communicate Recruitment client seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into the DevOps lifecycle, automate controls, and strengthen AWS environments. You will champion secure-by-design practices, build security guardrails, and collaborate with engineers and leaders to make security everyone's responsibility.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, CI/CD, and security tooling, plus a passion for automating security and embracing emerging AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevSecOps, security engineering, or cloud security.
• Proficient with Terraform, AWS, CI/CD and automation.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, cloud security, IAM, encryption, and secure-by-design principles.
• Hands-on with SAST, DAST, vulnerability management and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Embed security into every deployment, pipeline, and platform.
• Automate security controls and threat detection in CI/CD.
• Design secure, resilient cloud environments.
• Promote shift-left security across engineering teams.
• Build guardrails to balance speed and compliance.

• Translate complex risks into practical, actionable solutions.
