Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps professional in the Western Cape to embed security into every deployment and workflow. You will own security from code to cloud, combining engineering excellence with threat prevention.

You will automate vulnerability detection, design secure cloud environments, and advocate shift-left practices, partnering with engineers and leadership to make security everyone's responsibility.

Qualifications

• Career in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or Cloud Security with proactive problem prevention.
• Terraform, AWS, CI/CD and automation experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, cloud security, IAM, encryption, and secure-by-design principles.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, and security tooling.
• Always seeking smarter, faster, more secure ways of working.
• Proactive in solving problems and automating repetitive tasks.

• SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, and security tooling aren't just buzzwords on your CV, they're tools you've used in the real world.
