Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to ensure reliability and performance across modern environments.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools while collaborating with developers to optimize deployments and system resilience across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering with a focus on operations.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
