Job summary

Swift International Human Resources in Cape Town seeks a lead Pavement Design Engineer to manage a team of Engineers and Technicians on the design, procurement and contract administration of roads projects.

The role requires PR Eng registration, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and at least 10 years' experience, including 5+ years with Rubicon or cncPave. Strong leadership and delivery skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Applicable bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Registration with ECSA as a PR Eng.
• Minimum of 10 years post PR Eng registration experience.
• At least 10 years' experience in pavement design standards and procedures.
• Specialist knowledge of Rubicon, cncPave and/or similar pavement design packages, at least 5 years' experience in these types of software packages.

This includes high-capacity freeways, interchanges and bridges, airport pavements, rural roads (including low volume and haul roads) and municipal infrastructure.
