Job summary

Communicate Recruitment seeks a civil engineer with strong road and transportation infrastructure design experience to work on road alignments, pavements, bridges, and drainage projects. Expertise in Civil 3D or AutoCAD and the ability to interpret survey data are essential.

Experience coordinating with civil, structural and other engineering disciplines is highly valued; ECSA registration is advantageous for senior roles.

Qualifications

• BEng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• ECSA registration advantageous; professional registration relevant for seniors.
• Strong experience in road and transportation infrastructure design and road geometries.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or AutoCAD and ability to interpret survey data.
• Experience coordinating with civil, structural and other disciplines.

Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in road and transportation infrastructure design Road alignment and geometric design Pavement design and rehabilitation Experience with bridge and associated infrastructure projects Stormwater and drainage associated with road projects Earthworks and bulk earthworks Preparation of technical reports, specifications and design documentation Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD or similar civil design software Ability to interpret survey information, engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience coordinating with civil, structural and other engineering disciplines Experience with municipal, provincial or major infrastructure projects advantageous Consulting engineering experience advantageous

Qualification:

BEng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field ECSA registration advantageous, with Professional Registration particularly relevant for senior professionals
